Electrical Engineer/Designer

 

Billings, Montana office. An Electrical Engineer/Designer's responsibility at Cushing Terrell includes working with other electrical engineers to produce electrical designs for buildings.  Most designs involve lighting, power, voice and data, security access, and Fire Alarm systems.  Most projects will involve using Revit to produce construction documents; therefore, experience with Revit is desired.  Other significant programs used in design are AGI Lighting software and SKM fault analysis software.

 

What’s Needed: 

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications

  • Experience: 8-10 years of job-related experience. Experience in healthcare building typology is strongly preferred 

  • Licenses or Certifications: Professional Engineering License preferred

  • Software: Outlook, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit

  • Core Knowledge: Competent mathematical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills

Electrical Design at Cushing Terrell: Electrical Engineering at Cushing Terrell represents a crucial piece of the complex building-design puzzle. You will have a unique opportunity to work on projects throughout the United States in a range of markets, including retail, commercial, and education, among others. You will be called upon to support design work in partnership with talented architectural designers, engineers, and business professionals across our offices. Be prepared to gain exposure to some exciting, high profile clients with big expectations, but note you will need to be comfortable with tight deadlines and a fluctuating workload.
